I like the idea of being able to play a classic but without having a stickman actually hanging at the end for kids to see! Great idea.
This could have been better but it's just the same image through every page. The pre-assigned blocks also limit your game choices, only 18 characters, max.
I get the point of the template on each page for playing hangman with pen and paper, but it has some limitations. There are a limited number of squares in which to write the word, and also in hangman, you tend to tell people how many words there are, spread the boxes out etc. This suggests colouring in the unused ones, which would be a little unclear and some answers won't fit.
Hangman Mania 120 Playful Puzzles for Kids & Adults is a delightful and engaging twist on the classic hangman game. The upside-down hangman concept makes it fun and non-creepy, perfect for kids. With large 8.5 x 11-inch pages, the book provides ample space for easy play. The 120 puzzles are great for entertaining and sharpening spelling skills. The glossy cover and premium white paper add to the quality. Ideal for rainy days, road trips, or quiet evenings, this book is a must-have for anyone who loves word games. Highly recommended!
I love most about this book is its fresh, non-creepy twist on the classic hangman game, making it perfect for kids. Each puzzle is thoughtfully designed to be both challenging and enjoyable, helping to improve spelling and vocabulary in a playful way.
My daughter loves this for the upside-down hangman design. It’s fun without being scary, and the large pages are perfect for her to track her guesses and learn new words.
A handy family game in a rainy day, weekend or holiday to keep everyone engaged and having fun! Allows each player to be creative and make up her own secret word.
I totally forgot about this game we used to play when we were kids. This is a low-content book with the hangman puzzle over and over again. In the olden days, we used to draw it on paper, but this book has it already beautifully drawn and ready to play! It should be great for kids who at least know all their letters.
Simple concept. All the pages are the same. But also a nice way to help younger kids visualize the game as they learn it.
I've always loved the game of hangman and played it often with my kids. I recently bought this version for an overnight trip, and we had a blast playing it together!
Great idea of hanging the man upside down. This game is a classic for a reason and is very good for building word skills, spelling and vocabulary. I wish they included a page of ideas of words for the kiddos as this is what takes the most time for them to think up a word AND they might misspell it. I thought the book was filled with 120 puzzles, but it is 120 pages for you to create your own puzzles. But that was my mistake and still worth it to get them reading, writing & thinking.
Fun for kids and all ages! Love this game as a kid.
Presented in a colorful yet simple way. We enjoyed playing the games and puzzles and it is hours of fun- especially for kids on long car rides. This is great for young kids up to adults. Fun for the whole family.
The picture on the cover is what you get over and over. As you can see, the figure is upside down with a smile on his face, which is kid friendly. There's a place to mark off used letters, and boxes for correct guesses, making it easier to play. I loved this game as a kid, and I've seen my grandkids playing it. I think this would make a great gift for a child.
I had never really thought about how inappropriate hangman was until I saw this version, the man hangs from his feet instead of his neck making it much more appropriate for children. It's a great idea and a great book with lots of pages so they won't run out quickly. Overall a great product and a smart idea : )
