Modern day Mumbai……twenty-three million strong, full of smog, cars and trucks honking, cows and people walking in the streets. That is the normal view of the city. Behind the scenes, Mumbai is crawling with all types of people. Office goers, workmen, politicians and many members of the deep and developed underworld. A murder of an up-and-coming politician happens, and someone has to care about the ramifications. Kabir Joshi is the someone! What is his life worth to those in charge?
Andrew Levine graduated from college over 40 years ago and spent a lifetime being a Certified Public Accountant, surely an office existence. He always dreamed of seeing all the places that he once saw only in his stamp collection as a youth. Once he was married, Andrew and his wife decided it was time to hit the road, and they have done a good job of seeing many countries. India was always a faraway place but recently they found it and loved their time there. This book is his way of saying thanks for the good memory and our wish to return.
