Andrea Morani holds a PhD in molecular biology and works in the pharmaceutical industry. A lifelong reader of dystopian and speculative fiction, he spent years admiring the genre from the outside before deciding to write it himself. He lives in Switzerland with his wife and their two children, whom he hopes to leave with the same curiosity about the natural world that sent him into science in the first place. His first novel, Bloom — Crisis in the Mediterranean Sea, is independently published on Amazon and opens a continuing series.
