David F. Smith is a novelist, filmmaker, musician, and designer from Jersey City, New Jersey. He attended Hampton University, Rutgers University, UMDNJ, and Essex County College and holds a degree in Legal Assistant Studies, alongside certifications in public purchasing and hazardous material site investigations. Despite a troubled past, David turned to music as a refuge, founding his record label and clothing line. His creative journey expanded into writing, with notable works like the Dying of a Light series and movie and the Total Control series. He also authored Mambo 2 Mambo, The Health Scare System, CHILDREN OF THE PHASING MOON and a guide for aspiring musicians, The Smith's Quick Guide: Turning Music Into A Business Manual. David's design skills were refined under Rafael Fishman's Custom Leather Shop, leading him to open Chez Chic Boutique in Montclair. Currently residing in Newark, David recently certified in Naturopathy, released a 9-volume children's book series, THE VITAMEN LEGACY, honoring his late friend, aspiring children's book author Samantha Margarita Mena.
