Dr. Monique M. Chouraeshkenazi is an award-winning entrepreneur and homeland security expert. She is Founder & CEO of security consulting firm, The Chouraeshkenazi Group LLC. As a professor, educator, researcher, author, writer, and professional speaker, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi specializes in homeland/national security, research, global terrorism, terrorism, criminal justice, and public policy. She is Associate Professor for the School of Security and Global Studies in Homeland Security at American Public University System. She is also the Lead Professor for the School of Graduate and Degree Completion Programs for Tiffin University's Master of Criminal Justice department. Furthermore, she is an adjunct professor for Southern New Hampshire University’s graduate degree department in criminal justice, legal and global terrorism studies. Finally, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi is a former Subject Matter Expert for Tiffin's national security and research course as well as a former Antiterrorism Instructor for the United States Air Force. In addition to teaching, Dr. Chouraeshkenazi served as a Technical Sergeant in the United States Air Force for over 13 years in the Cyber Security/Knowledge Operations Management/Security Management fields. Earlier in her career, she had a dual role in Antiterrorism and Security positions. Her experience and interests are in terrorism, homeland security, and national security realms. Some of Dr. Chouraeshkenazi’s most prominent positions held in the Air Force were Chief of the 18th Wing Security Office for the 18th Wing Intelligence Group at Kadena Air Base, Japan, Noncommissioned Officer-in-Charge for the 451st Expeditionary Operations Group and Alternate Antiterrorism Officer for the 451st Air Expeditionary Wing at Kandahar Airfield, Afghanistan. Dr. Chouraeshkenazi was the Acting Superintendent, Enlisted Military Assistant and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge to the Deputy Secretary of Defense for Secretaries Dr. Ashton Carter, Ms. Christine Fox, and Mr. Robert Work. Finally, she was the Military Executive Assistant to Joint Improvised-Threat Defeat Agency (JITDA) Director, LTG John Johnson (retired), as her last assignment on active duty. Dr. Chouraeshkenazi is a former certified Level II Antiterrorism Instructor and has various certifications in the information assurance, security, antiterrorism, and force protection fields. She has an A.A.S. in Information Resource Management from the Community College of the Air Force, B.A. in Homeland Security from American Military University (Honors), Master of Criminal Justice from Boston University (Honors), and a career diploma in Private Investigation from Penn Foster College. Dr. Chouraeshkenazi earned a Ph.D. in Public Policy and Administration degree program with a specialization in Terrorism, Mediation, and Peace from Walden University (Highest Honors). Finally, she is pursuing a Doctor of Psychology of Forensic Psychology from the Eisner Institute of Professional Studies in Encino, California.
