Liu has spent much of her childhood travelling back and forth between Thailand and China, and promptly proceeded to expand those travels to the rest of the continent as soon as she touched adulthood. She has spent time in personal and professional kitchens all across China, Thailand, Japan, Korea, Vietnam, and Malaysia, honing her skills and developing keen instincts that have allowed her to experiment and push the boundaries of culinary possibilities. Meticulously chronicling her journey across borders, she now cracks open her food journal to share her recipes with the world, hoping to entice more people into the culinary arts, and make cooking easier and more fun for everyone! When she’s not cooking or tinkering in the kitchen, Evangeline can be found sampling others’ food to add to the pages of her ever-expanding journal; hiking long, winding trails with her dogs; or enjoying overly indulgent ice cream sundaes.
