I was born in Bangladesh and have lived in over 13 countries for 25 years. My overriding aim has been to try to figure out how to revitalize the Muslim ummah. In this journey of now over 22 years, I've seen, read, and felt much. I've seen war, faced torture, imprisonment, ridicule, and called everything from a non-Muslim to a fasiq. Nevertheless, I've persevered the best I could. I've discovered great thinkers with whom I share some intellectual commonality. Chief among these have been Allama Iqbal, Malek Bennabi, and Muhammad Asad.
