"Litter Box" is a deeply emotional collection of poems that takes readers on a journey through the heartache of a painful breakup, leading to self-realization and healing. The poems are raw and honest, beautifully capturing feelings of love, loss, and introspection. The short, poignant poems stand out with their simplicity and powerful messages. However, some poems lack form and would benefit from more editing for spelling errors and formatting issues. Despite this, the book's emotional depth makes it a compelling read for anyone who has experienced heartache.
While I applaud the author for their raw and honest emotions about what seems to be a very complicated/complex relationship and their willingness to share those emotions--I find the poetry unpolished, unimpressive, cliche and poorly formatted. I understand the urge to write in the moment--to embrace the flow and be engulfed by the emotions behind something--a moment, a relationship, a feeling--whatever, but I think this could have used several more run throughs--it's just not ready.
