Welcome to Read & Rate. These Terms of Service outline the rules and regulations for using our platform. By accessing and using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms. User Responsibilities and Account

Account Creation and Maintenance

• Required Information: Users must provide their name, email address, and optional phone number to create an account.
• Age Restrictions: There are no age restrictions for creating an account, but a credit card is required for subscription payments.

User Conduct

• Compliance with Policies: Users must follow Amazon guidelines and Read & Rate policies.
• Prohibited Behavior: Posting offensive content, spamming, or engaging in prohibited behavior will result in a warning. Repeated offenses will lead to account suspension without refund.
• Review Guidelines: Reviews must be constructive and reflect a legitimate review. Reviews with ratings under 3 are not accepted; users must choose another book instead.

Service Usage

Service Access

• Subscription Requirement: Access to the platform requires a subscription.
• Free Trials: All subscription plans offer a free trial, except when stated.
• Readers Club: Accessible with a free subscription, requiring only an account creation.

Content Ownership

• Permission to Use Content: By uploading your book and its details, you allow Read & Rate to use this information for promotional purposes on any marketing platforms we use.
• Public Information: Book details, pictures, and all other information are considered public. We do not disclose the real name of the member, only the book details that are publicly available on Amazon.
• User Reviews: All reviews are made by users and are not altered by Read & Rate. These reviews are accessible online via a link.
• Private Comments: Accessible only by the admin and the user who receives them.

Security of Content and Use Restrictions

• Secure Actions: All actions performed on the Read & Rate platform must be executed in a secure manner.
• Content Use Restrictions: No content or service provided by Read & Rate may be reproduced, extracted, modified, or used outside the platform without prior written permission.
• Confidentiality: By using the platform, users agree to keep all information private and not share it with unauthorized third parties.
• Limitation of Liability: Read & Rate shall not be liable for any loss of sales, revenue, Amazon account suspension, negative reviews, or any other issues arising from the use of the platform.
• Legal Action for Unauthorized Use: If any private or protected information is used or disclosed without authorization, Read & Rate reserves the right to pursue legal action to obtain compensation.

Subscription Plans and Features

Legacy plans: members who subscribed before August 8, 2026 keep their existing plan and pricing under these same billing terms, until they cancel or change plan.

Note: All bonuses and free trials are for new members only, applicable to their first subscription. Expert-level audits, listing optimization, and Amazon Ads support are available through our A La Carte Services described below.

A La Carte Services

• Service Availability: A La Carte services, including audits, marketing support, and custom solutions, are available to all users. Discounts may apply for members based on their subscription plan.
• Service Descriptions:
  • Audits: Our Professional and Expert Audit services provide detailed reviews of Amazon book listings, focusing on optimization opportunities such as titles, descriptions, backend keywords, and more.
  • Action Plans: This advanced support service includes ad campaign management, SEO-optimized descriptions, and personalized publishing strategies.
  • Custom Solutions: Flexible, tailored services, such as keyword research, ad setup, and content editing, are available on a project basis. Pricing starts at $34.95 and varies based on the scope of work.
• Marketing Campaign Guidelines:
  • Each marketing campaign is for one book only.
  • Campaigns are limited to a maximum of 3 ad groups, with 1 ad per group and a maximum of 10 keywords per group.
  • The cost of advertising fees (e.g., Amazon Ads, Google Ads) is not included in our service fees and must be paid directly to the respective advertising platform.
• Payment Terms: All payments for A La Carte services are due upfront. For Custom Solutions, a separate quote and agreement may be required. No refunds will be issued for completed services.
• Delivery Timeframes: Deliverables for audits and reports are typically provided within 5–7 days, depending on the service level. Custom timelines for Custom Solutions will be outlined in the service agreement.

Digital Tools and Services

Read & Rate offers various digital tools including the KDP Analysis Tool, PDF Converter, and Watermark Tool. By using these tools, you agree to the following terms:

Nature of Tool Output

Our tools use algorithms and publicly available data to analyze information and generate suggestions. All output, including analysis results, recommendations, and suggestions, is based on automated processing and should not be considered professional advice.

Disclaimer of Liability

• Read & Rate is not responsible for any suggestions, recommendations, analysis results, or information provided by our tools.
• Users acknowledge that tool output should not be the sole basis for business, publishing, or marketing decisions.
• Read & Rate makes no guarantees regarding the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any tool output.
• Users assume all risk associated with acting on tool-generated suggestions or recommendations.
• Read & Rate cannot be held liable for any damages, losses, or negative outcomes resulting from the use of our tools or reliance on their output.

No Refund Policy for Tools

All tool purchases are final and non-refundable under any circumstances. This includes:

• Pay-as-you-go code purchases
• InkDrops redemptions for tool access
• Any other form of tool access or credits

No refunds will be issued regardless of outcome, user satisfaction, technical issues, or any other reason.

Tool-Specific Terms

• KDP Analysis Tool: Provides analysis based on available Amazon data. Accuracy depends on data availability and market conditions at the time of analysis.
• PDF Converter: Converts supported file formats to PDF. Results may vary based on source file quality and format.
• Watermark Tool: Only PDF files receive watermark protection. Other file formats are processed but may not receive watermarks.

Subscription Billing, Renewal, Cancellation and Refunds

All subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) until canceled. The renewal is charged to the payment method on file at the rate in effect for your plan. You can cancel at any time in the "Manage Subscription" section of your profile; cancellation stops the next renewal and your access continues until the end of the paid period. Subscription payments, including renewals, are non-refundable once processed, except where required by law. If you believe a charge is in error, contact [email protected] within 30 days of the charge and we will review it promptly.

Payment Failure Policy

• Retry Attempts: In case of payment failure, we will automatically retry 4 times during the next 7 days to process the payment.
• Cancellation on Failure: If the payment is still unsuccessful after 7 days, the subscription will be automatically canceled.
• Recurring Subscriptions: All subscriptions are recurring. Users need to cancel their subscription by going to the "Manage Subscription" section in their profile if they wish to cancel.
• Payment Processor: All subscription plans are processed through Stripe, our payment processor. Payment data is exclusively managed by Stripe; we do not handle payment information directly.

GDPR Compliance and Data Protection

We are committed to protecting the privacy of our users, especially those in the European Union (EU) and the United Kingdom (UK), by complying with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable data protection laws.

Amazon OAuth and Data Portability Integration

You may log in or sign up on our platform using your Amazon account. By connecting your Amazon account, you authorize us to access certain data through Amazon's Data Portability API.

We have access to all Category 1 and Category 2 scopes provided by Amazon. We focus exclusively on these scopes to enhance user experience and provide valuable insights to authors.

• Amazon Associate Disclosure: As an Amazon Associate, we earn from qualifying purchases. This means that if you click on an Amazon link on our site and make a purchase, we may earn a commission at no additional cost to you.

• User Responsibility: Users are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their account information and for all activities that occur under their account.

Dispute Resolution and Governing Law

• Governing Law: These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Mexico, USA.
• Dispute Resolution: Any disputes arising out of or relating to these terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
