This children's book is about Koda the cat and her adventure camping with Chloe and Winston. Koda learns about what nature is and has an adventure looking at her surroundings and following butterflies. She gets stuck in a tree, but is helped down by Winston and Chloe. It's a sweet book with nice pictures.
The story is about a kitty who goes on an adventure exploring and discovers a love and appreciation of nature. The story also touches on sharing and helping others. The illustrations are quite lovely, and this would be a great story to read to a child while they're sitting on your lap.
Koda the cat likes nature, eating fish and pears, chasing butterflies, and she spooks real easy, a lot like my one year old collie. Koda got stuck in tree and her dog buddy gets her back down. This book would be good for 6 to 7 year olds, just starting out. I'd ask them what parts of the story don't add up.
This is the second book I've read in this series. I don't think you need to read them in order. It's as cute as the first one was, and the first one was cute. The illustrations are colorful and engaging. The characters are likely to make a child laugh. I recommend this book as an early reader or to be read to a prereader.
Cute story. Illustrations are top notch. My grandkids enjoyed everything about this book.
