The author of this book does a good job establishing what vaping is and its dangers. He does a good job laying out how vaping is promoted. The author confronts misconceptions, like the false belief that vaping is not addictive. He establishes the role of brain function in addiction in the developing brain. There are recommendations for talking to your teenager and other interventions. I felt like the author spent too much time selling the book and relied heavily on emotional appeals. The book is also a bit too redundant. Overall, this book makes good points, but it has a few writing problems.

I vape and used to smoke. I used vaping to get off of smoking. It worked, but it's still terrible for me and I know this. The use of this book for me is that it's oriented towards children. I don't want them to vape and their curious about my vaping habit, this gives me advice on how to prevent that while I try to quit. If you have kids, in this epidemic of teen vaping, this book is invaluable.
For parents ready to reclaim their teen's health and future, this book is an indispensable guide that promises not just insights but also actionable steps towards building a happier, healthier family.
This book does a great job at looking at the "why" of vaping and approaching it scientifically of the harm it is doing. Very important book as this is a huge issue - highly recommend it!
