Well written romance novel. Good balance of effective dialogue and narrative, including tidbits of humor. Character descriptions are well placed in the story’s narrative. Ms. King is a good writer who lets the reader experience the story through the eyes of its characters. On a constructive note, the story is ho-hum until Dan’s introduction. Without him, there would be no tension, suspense, or foreshadowing. In my opinion, bringing him in earlier would have greatly enhanced the story since he provides the conflict that exposes "Marym’s" internal struggle. On a final note, the author might consider applying her talent to another genre, e.g., mystery or suspense where her strong writing could prove intriguing.
