The bulk of this children's book is a log, where a child keeps track of his or her superhero activities. I think this would work well for a child who is suffering from a lack of self-confidence. There are some fun activities toward the end. These are things like crosswords and word searches with super-hero themes. I think this book could be fun and helpful for a young child. It's worth checking out.
A 4.5 stars simply because the "How to Be a Kid" title feels slightly off theme to the rest of it being super hero-y. I realize the subtitle talks about heroes but I was expecting something different from this workbook than what it is - though what it is is great! I think a clearer title would have made this a 5 star for me.
A creative way to teach important life and social skills. The daily logs and secret missions add a fun twist, making kids excited to complete each challenge. A great way to encourage positive habits. Perfect for young heroes in the making!
