The good part about this book is if you are looking for a quick and simplistic escape read, this will do it. I had high hopes based on the synopsis, but everything lacked depth for me. There were also some distractions with poor formatting in the first chapter making it harder to read. But everything was just surface level and nothing really developed. I like the idea of the storyline, so I did enjoy thinking about an escape to Montana to write books. But it lost me when it had Nancy read her (whole) book at a reading. That just does not happen and is not realistic. No author reads entire novels, nor would anyone sit around for hours listening. Overall the story ended up not making much sense to me at all. And there were a lot of repetitions, not to mention the last few chapters being far too short to call a "chapter."
