This is a cute little story!!! It kept my child wanting more while waiting in anticipation for her to get the pie!! We loved the illustrations as well! We can't wait for the next adventure!!
This adorable book reminds me of books like "Curious George" and "Corduroy" from my childhood. Scout the goat is immediately likable and the adventure he goes on is full of fun. I thought the colorful illustrations were also fantastic. I was delighted to see a photo of the author as a child at the end with her grandfather - which matches the sentiment I had while reading the book to my niece. Sweet book!
This book was so cute. My sons aren't this small anymore, but I know some little ones who will enjoy it.
I read it to my granddaughter. Delicious day and delicious book for the young ones. Who says education can’t be fun? Great illustrations by Alcade. A real collaborative team effort. We need more like this for our grandchildren, and even for their grandparents. The perfect catalyst for the very old and young. Five stars.

A deightful adventure about a little goat in search of a farmer's pie. On the way the goat goes to a hairstylist and checks out a farmer's market. It's a sweet little story without any heavy-handed moral. Just a fun little ride, with cute illustrations.
Loved every bit of it! The Girl Scouts made the day extra sweet with fun, creativity, and so many tasty treats. Everything was well-organized, and the flavors were just perfect. Can’t wait for the next one – it was a delicious experience in every way!

My children and I loved this book and the wonderful illustrations! What a fun story with a great concept! We loved finding out that there is a real Farmer Ray and the inspiration behind the heartwarming and funny story. We are going to check out the first Goat on the Go book and are looking forward to the next one!
What a cute story! If I had any young grandchildren or even great-grandchildren, I would read it to them.
Scout the goat goes on a wonderful adventure by sneaking into the back of the farmer's truck. He wanders around getting into all kinds of mischievous trouble because he wants to taste pie. The artwork is so wonderfully detailed that a parent can point to the many things on the pages and talk over them. The way the characters/animals are drawn is charming. The book reflects a child's natural curiosity and celebrates it. Beautiful and well worth the purchase!
This book is a sweet and silly adventure! Kids will love tagging along as Scout explores tasty treats and fun surprises. The illustrations are bright, and the story is just the right mix of playful and imaginative. Perfect for snack time reading!”
Kids who like goats and or who have a curious streak will identify with Scout the goat who takes a big risk for some fresh baked pie! Cute modern illustrations of a traditional fish out of water story.

Very enjoyable! The illustrations are beautiful, the story is wonderful, and you can't help for rooting the goat on to get the pie. Nicely done. My niece will love this.
