From Bliss To This

This book tells about my incredible journey through this marriage and beyond in an unforgettable roller coaster ride of events, chapter after chapter, from the beginning, as I lived in love, through lies and betrayal I found myself financially trapped in an unbelievable situation. I was emotionally abused and threatened with my life, which was deteriorating before me. Ashamed, I kept the secret from my family and friends. I discovered that my husband became a bigamist after just a few years of marriage and was playing me to gain financially for himself and his family in Pakistan. To make it worse, he wanted his wife and future children to live in my home, that he had just exploited from me. That's when the abuse began. I realized that If I was strong and patient, made a good plan, and cooperated, I would either be dead, broke and homeless, or I'd be able to recover. I needed to survive and take my life back.
