As someone who loves to lose myself in historical mysteries, The Hidden Legacy by Detective Noir was a fantastic read! The deep layers of conspiracy, mixed with family ties and centuries-old secrets, made this story hard to put down. The misty streets of London add a perfect atmosphere to the intrigue. This is the second book I've read by this author. In both, you become totally immersed in the main character's perspective. The other characters seem more like props. The plot is mysterious and tense, though, making for an entertaining story. Overall, I think this book and this author are worth checking out.
