Mutated Files is a completely new and interesting concept to me—basically, a poster becomes a portal to another dimension. I found it engaging to follow Carol as she dealt with the chaos around her. Her determination to find her father during such a difficult time felt real and relatable. The mix of zombies and a lurking sinister force kept things interesting, but I wished there was a bit more depth to some characters. Carol’s growth was solid, but a few moments felt predictable. Still, it’s an entertaining read that has its share of thrills. If you’re into fast-paced horror adventures with a hint of fantasy, you might want to give this one a try!
