a good introduction to flash fiction for a middle grade audience
Always Around is acreepy tale of woman's son who the spirit of death around him. The takes the shape of a child , so it wouldn't scare but it did. And it took his mother. Great story.
An entertaining flash fiction story well written and presented.
I enjoyed this short and quick read. Although this is fiction, I'm sure many of us parents can relate to idea of getting by on coffee while working night shift. I enjoy the way the son was introduced, I feel a sort of empathy for him being a latch key kid. Without giving away the plot, I feel the story left a great cliff hanger to the beginning of a good book series or full novel.
I feel for the main character Corey. She really has her hands full. Look forward to a full novel
