Joshua does a great job of packing a complete story into a very small book. This is not an easy feat to accomplish, and he does it in a way that provides a fresh and telling story with twists and an unexpected ending. I will be looking forward to reading more short stories, definitely worth a read!!!
This story is literally 370 words - barely a paragraph. I think it would be best described as a story outline as opposed to a story. I guess this format simply isn't for me. It is to books what TikTok is to a film.
Super quick read, as is the nature of Flash Fiction. Well written inner monolog of what seems to be a tale you've heard many times before, but it's not quite what it seems.
It's not what you think it is. You have to walk down into the creepy basement first.
