The author has a light touch that can flow clearly from the most vapid virtual voice. At 11 hours, this mystery blazes on audio. I don't always buy the hi-tech backdrop and the virtual voice often miss the mark on inflection and stress; however, the book is gripping and makes you want to continue listening.
I loved the dangerous app and the threat it created. The author cleverly guides the reader through the mystery to discover whodunnit while maintaining suspense. Great for fans of technothrillers.
This is some tongue in cheek version of today’s modern game theory. Not sure if I read this with the proper knowledge of what I was doing. Maybe I should have had my teenager Un code it for me first. I had fun with the book though and happy to give it 5*
This one really took me by surprise. It starts off with what feels like a strange coincidence but quickly spirals into something much more intense. The way everything unfolded kept me guessing, and the mix of tech, crime, and real-world consequences was handled in a way that felt both modern and unsettling. Definitely one of those books you keep thinking about after it ends.
