In a post-apocalyptic world, the first thing to go is the electricity. We all need to be prepared for this situation. Loaded with kindness and compassion, 'Lights Out' was written on a different basis that is typical for this genre. Looking forward to the next book.

This book does a good job of conveying the dangers and challenges you need to prepare for when your life has been turned upside down by a nuclear event. No longer can you depend on normal communication, shopping for supplies, and be protected by law enforcement. You need to plan for and learn how to defend yourself from bad people to survive. Would have liked to have seen a little more detail on required supplies, and planning required for surviving such an event. A must read for those who aren't sure how to plan for such an event.
