I think the title is a little misleading as for "super easy", I would expect the notes of the letters to also be written underneath or on the letter, as you find in beginner books. This doesn't have that and also expects people to be comfortable with playing 2 handed treble and bass parts, so for me, I wouldn't class that as super easy.
I've been playing piano off and on for the last 4 years, starting at the age of 54. This book has been a wonderful resource. The simplified arrangements of Beethoven's classics allow me to play beautiful music without getting overwhelmed by complexity. It's incredibly satisfying to hear myself play recognizable pieces like "Moonlight Sonata" and "Ode to Joy." The video tutorials are a fantastic addition, helping me understand the music better. This book has truly helped to make my piano learning journey enjoyable and rewarding.
While ‘Beethoven for Beginners’ delivers on its promise of accessibility, I found myself wishing for a bit more depth. However, it serves as a solid introduction to classical music, especially for budding pianists. This collection features some of Beethoven's most iconic pieces like ‘Fur Elise’ and ‘Ode to Joy’, and the arrangements are genuinely super easy—perfect for those with about a year of music reading experience.
