The story was kind of interesting, albeit a stretch on believability. But it is a fiction story, after all. Unfortunately, it is poorly written with virtually no editing. Sentences are incomplete. Words are misused. Punctuation and grammar are poor. Properly edited, this could be an interesting story and style. Even with its unlikely logic, the story line holds up. Purchase only if you are interested in experimental storytelling.
The Masons' Sacrifice tells the story of James and his wife Elizabeth's journey in the jungle to restore an ancient temple. Once they start the job, they get more than they bargained for, with the talk of curses and the need for sacrifice. With outstanding illustrations within the book, The Masons' Sacrifice by Gabriella Vento delivers all that is needed when it comes to an adventure story. Nicely done.
This is a quick and entertaining read. It held my attention very well. The ending was not super memorable, but it was okay. I'd recommend this book if you'd like a brief, suspenseful read.
The only complaint? It's too short! Was a great short read I enjoyed it a lot.
