I am loving this book. It is easy to read, and helpful in so many categories. I especially love chapter 4 on creating an ADHD-friendly home environment. This book contains so many great ideas which not only apply to homes, but to classrooms as well. If you are a school teacher who struggles with how to manage your ADHD students, I encourage you pick this book up.
The book offers some useful suggestions, particularly when it comes to creating routines and improving focus in kids. I also liked the part about games that help with social skills. However, some of the tips seemed pretty simple, and I was expecting a bit more depth in the strategies provided. It’s good if you’re just starting to learn about ADHD, but if you’ve done some research already, you might not find a lot of new information here. It’s a decent guide, but I was looking for something a little more in-depth.
