This book hit home for me. I’ve been through a few rough relationships and always blamed myself. Going through these pages helped me spot patterns I hadn’t noticed before. It gave me a clearer understanding of what I was dealing with and how to finally move forward. It’s not sugar-coated, which I appreciated—it just lays things out in a way that made sense. I feel more confident and aware now when it comes to setting boundaries.
There are a lot of books on this subject and I enjoy reading them to learn from them. This, however, is a really good one. The author's voice is a little clunky and takes some getting used to but the content is solid.

I really enjoyed reading the book. There was so much I thought I already knew and yet the author goes even deeper into the core of why narcissists and empaths attract. There is also some great information about how narcissists are sometimes created through many different channels which include but are not limited to childhood abuse and neglect or abandonment. Still as much as I thought I knew, I learned plenty of new information as well. This is a great book for people who have either been in a relationship or are currently dating a narcissist. I also loved that it shows you the red flags to watch out for.
This book is an important read for anyone. Toxic relationships are more common than we think, and you might not even know you are in one. Even if you're in a healthy relationship, this book can help you identify when your friends and family may need help. Must read!
