I have a lot of friends who have kids, and I have been looking for a great story for them. I loved reading about Olivia's struggle to master her inner demon in a world full of danger and magic.
Olivia Cult The Bewitching Years Year Two is a captivating continuation of Olivia’s magical journey. As she delves deeper into the world of Parabola, the story beautifully balances dark magic, danger, and Olivia’s inner conflict with her demon, Lilith. Her curiosity about the human world adds a new layer of intrigue, especially with the approaching Halloween season and the supernatural threats she faces. The tension between her powers and her need for control makes for a compelling read.
Absolutely enchanting! Olivia Cult: The Bewitching Years - Year Two takes everything that made the first book captivating and raises the stakes. The plot is fast-paced, the characters continue to grow in fascinating ways, and the magical elements are richer than ever. The author has a gift for blending suspense, romance, and fantasy, making it impossible to put down. A brilliant continuation for fans of magic and mystery!
This book is a thrilling trip into a world full of witches, magic, and supernatural battles. The characters are really well done. The action scenes - with all the spellcasting, zombies, and demons - had me hooked, and the fast pace made it a super fun, quick read.
This is a Harry Potter take off. The concept is actually pretty good. But there are so many errors in this book it's hard to know where to begin. Mr. or Ms. Kelly? would do well to join a writer's group where writing skills could be improved. This book reads like a first draft manuscript. The writer has not learned that good writing is rewriting...as many times as it takes to get it right. There is no editing, poor grammar, bad sentence structure and a plethora of misused words. Structurally, the book is a disaster. The characters are poorly developed. Dialogue and dialogue tags are bad; in many cases overtly incorrect. The writer needs a strong editor and must spend time learning the craft of good writing. It is very difficult for me to recommend someone spend money on this book.
Olivia Cult: The Bewitching Years: Year Two continues to deliver on the excitement, magic, and depth that made the first installment so captivating. In this next chapter, Olivia's journey into the mystical world deepens as she navigates new challenges under the guidance of her mentor, William. Boss Kelly does an excellent job of developing Olivia’s character, portraying her growth from a curious apprentice to a young enchantress stepping into her power. The story seamlessly blends folklore with Olivia's internal struggles, particularly her ongoing battle to control her darker impulses, represented by her inner demon, Lilith. The supernatural threats in this book feel more sinister and present a real sense of danger, making the stakes higher than ever for Olivia. As Halloween looms, the tension builds, keeping readers on the edge of their seats. Kelly’s writing shines with vivid descriptions, bringing both the mystical and human worlds to life. The fast-paced plot, along with Olivia’s headstrong and relatable personality, ensures that Year Two is just as engaging as the first. The theme of balancing power and survival resonates throughout, as Olivia continues to embrace her role in both worlds. For fans of witchcraft and supernatural tales, Olivia Cult: The Bewitching Years: Year Two does not disappoint. It's a fantastic continuation of the series, filled with magic, intrigue, and the perfect touch of darkness. I highly recommend it and can’t wait to see where Olivia’s journey takes her next.
Olivia grows up and enjoys a break from her magical academy studies in Boss Kelly's third book of a four-volume series, Olivia Cult: The Bewitching Years: Year Two. Now that it's Halloween, she wants to go home. Despite Meredith's attempts to stop her, she and Jill successfully cast a spell to return home. Under the spell's influence, they found themselves in Maine, drawn there by the allure of eerie criminal activity, as stated in the spell chant—take us where we need to be. There, William met them and had two experiences that aided his investigation of paranormal phenomena. Olivia found herself in a mental struggle with Lilith. She defeated a cryptkeeper, some zombies, and even a doppelganger with her companions. In this book, Olivia shows maturity, competence, and self-control. If you love stories about magical adventures, read this book. I look forward to Book 4.
