This book was very good. It made me stop and think about everything life has thrown at me over the years. In a way it reminded me of the poem Don't Quit. It made me feel like I was a young man listening to the advice of a very old wise man that was talking to me over the campfire. This book will help you motivate your self and seet goals in Life. It helps you understand failures and not to let them get you down. It is very well writen and definately a must read.
I found Life’s Loaded Dice: When Six Never Comes! to be a powerful and sobering read. J.D. Arden doesn’t sugarcoat the realities of life—this book dives straight into the unfairness we often prefer to ignore. Through real-life stories and thought-provoking insights, Arden challenges the myth that success is purely a result of hard work. It made me rethink how much of our lives are influenced by luck, privilege, and timing. If you’re looking for a raw and eye-opening look at life’s realities, this book is a must-read.
This is a brief book with a simple but effective concept. Basically, life is not fair, so stop worrying about that and live it anyway. There are not too many actionable steps outlined. It's more about an attitude. Overall, I think it's a brief but worthwhile read.
