A short but enjoyable story with some twists at the end. I love short stories and this one packs a lot in a very small space. If you enjoy a good quick read (I read it in less than 15 minutes) and have a passion for mystery this and other works by the author should be a great start for you.
A well-crafted short story that kept me engaged from beginning to end. The pacing was swift, and the characters felt authentic and intriguing. I’m excited to read more from this talented author.
I love how the author took advantage of same style that i write in to create a life like Chicago that reeks of murder and mayhem. For a short story it built up steam and keep moving until the end. I like my books to develop a bit more but I can understand how the author wants to get you going and then plunge to the ending. It was enjoyable and I will read more of his style.
Well written! Like any short story, there are going to be questions unanswered and the pace is going to be fast and clunky, but there were some great one liners and the story is compelling. The author is a self-proclaimed master of the short and sharp and I have to agree. Well done!
