I love how the author describes the settings, characters, and well-written dialogue. Keep up the good work.
This has the potential be a thought-provoking and interesting story, but it’s far too short on detail to really hit the mark. I know it’s meant to be flash fiction, but the ‘chapters’ are so short they read more like bullet points than narrative – there’s almost as much detail in the blurb as there is in the actual story content. Fleshed out into a short story, though, it would be an interesting read.
Once again, James Moore has used his masterful writing style and unique storytelling in The Last Upload to keep the reader riveted to the very end. I also love how the dark worlds he creates in his books end with such romanticism. Absolutely fascinating.
