20 Universal Laws of Success is not just a book to read once—it’s a companion for life. A guide you’ll return to when your goals feel hazy, your energy feels scattered, or you need a recalibration of both vision and values. It’s for the dreamers who are ready to do the work, and for the doers who want to be more intentional with their journey.
In "The 20 Universal Laws of Success: Manifesting Your Path to Achievement," Ali Pournamdarian examines success and some of the current philosophies in a fresh light. I found it very refreshing. We have all heard of the Law of Attraction and The Secret. Pournamdarian gives us an alternative look and adds some very well thought-out ideas – his “Laws”. Each of his examples rang true for me. I was also enamored with his Illustrations. The text, along with his insightful illustrations, is a good read. While I may not agree 100% with some of his ideas, they do what all good books should. They made me rethink and evaluate my own beliefs and thoughts. Every one of his 20 Laws makes sense. You can absorb, assimilate, and utilize them as you see fit. This is not one of those self-help books that are heavy on woo-woo. Instead, it presents the author’s idea in a clear and precise manner. Use it or not. It is up to you. But you will never look at the Law of Attraction the same way.
Ali Pournamdarian's *20 Universal Laws of Success* is a must-read for anyone seeking genuine, lasting achievement. This isn't your typical self-help book promising overnight transformations through the Law of Attraction. Instead, it offers a profound and practical framework for success, earning a well-deserved 5 out of 5 stars. Pournamdarian masterfully blends ancient wisdom with modern psychology, weaving together insights from mystics, philosophers, and management strategists. The book delves into the powerful connection between our inner world and the outcomes we create, emphasizing that manifestation isn't about wishful thinking, but about aligning passion with planning, energy with execution, and vision with consistent action. This book doesn't offer shortcuts or mystical tricks. As the author emphasizes, success isn't about titles or trophies, but about personal transformation. It's about the strength gained through struggle, the wisdom earned through experience, and the courage to persevere. *20 Universal Laws of Success* provides a roadmap for this journey, guiding readers towards not just achieving their goals, but becoming the kind of person who can handle them with grace, wisdom, and fulfillment. The book explores 20 universal laws, not in isolation, but as interconnected principles brought to life by essential skills like communication, negotiation, and strategic thinking. These skills bridge the gap between inner intentions and outer achievements, creating a dynamic system where dreams are carefully built, step by step. Each chapter offers powerful reflections, actionable insights, and a deeper invitation to live with purpose. Whether you're just starting out or striving for the next level, this book serves as both compass and companion. It’s a guide to clarity, empowerment, and growth, reminding us that true success lies in the journey of becoming our best selves. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a more grounded and meaningful approach to self-improvement.
An awful lot of manifestation focuses on thin air or desire and little else. This book skips a lot of the self-help porn that we are so swamped with and in the main gives a a clear, structured way to match intention with action. Philosophy is blended with history, psychology, and project‑management know‑how and the result is accessible and quietly motivating. For me, a lot of the book could be lumped under the law “common sense” and whilst building in a sound budget is sensible, if most people had the money to invest they wouldn’t be investigating manifestation. Ditto a network of useful contacts. I felt the book slightly washed over the corner-stones of any true success story and pushed a lot of what ought to be common sense. Even so, the guidance is well organised and practical and let’s face it we all lack common sense at times. You could just close your eyes and wish for success or you could get this quick-to-read and more than competent companion which will most likely help anyone serious about personal or professional growth.
A good overview of a large number of the elements it takes to create the reality that you want. The author approaches it more from a business perspective from his time working in project management. The book is well organized, and touches on a number of important principles to be successful. A positive and informative read that gives a helpful overview of important principles for success.
I really liked that the author identified all of the various schools of thought on this topic, as of course there are many, as well as identifying the common elements between those schools. Really enjoyed reading this one and took plenty of lessons and inspiration from it.
An inspiring and practical read that brings together timeless principles for personal growth and success. The ideas presented are clear and motivating, offering useful reminders and fresh insights alike. Whether you're just starting your journey or looking for a boost of clarity and focus, this book has something to offer.
There are a lot of “success” books out there that promise the moon and end up giving you a handful of buzzwords and recycled fluff. 20 Universal Laws of Success isn’t one of them. This book surprised me—in a good way. It’s practical, grounded, and somehow manages to be both inspiring and useful. Each of the 20 laws is broken down in a way that feels like you’re sitting across the table from someone who’s been in the trenches and is just telling it to you straight. No hype. No filler. Just real tools you can start applying right away. What I liked most? It doesn’t lean too hard into any one worldview or philosophy. It blends mindset, action, and personal responsibility in a way that’s refreshingly balanced. You get the motivational fire and the roadmap. Whether you're just getting started in business, trying to level up your life, or feeling stuck and need a reset—this book delivers. I found myself bookmarking passages and rereading a few of the chapters because the insights just hit differently depending on where you are in your journey. Bottom line: if you’re serious about growth and want a guide that cuts through the noise, this one’s worth every page. I’ll be coming back to it often—and probably gifting it to a few people too.
