The engagement of Ember, an Ardor Court Fire Fae princess, to Prince Weir, heir to the Aqua Pura Water Fae, faces the threat of being undone. A mysterious brewing conflict further complicates this issue. At the same time, Alpha prince Avin of the Amorist pack is also under duress: his forced engagement to Sayla, Luna princess of the Satyr pack. Neither of these engagements was undertaken with heartfelt enthusiasm.Ember and Avin are both turning 21 and will be crowned in celebration. Their coronation will be held in tandem with the meeting of the Paranormal Council. Both coronations and weddings will also be taking place on this day. Both sets of parents seem to be growing more apprehensive and anxious as the date of the meeting draws closer.
