
I love how the author differentiates between the inner guide and inner critic. I believe this is a powerful way of thinking of the inner self and can be a great place to start healing. The author then shows how to deal with the inner critic through mindfulness and other techniques. There's an emphasis on inner dialogue. I like some of Crentsil's books better than others. I'd have to say this is one of the better ones. I think if you are new to mindfulness or just need a reminder of how to use it, then you can benefit from this book. I highly recommend it.
