Saying No is a complete sentence. It's OK to tell people no. This book does a great job describing not only saying no, but enforcing the boundaries behind the no.
Mastering the Art of No is a game-changer for anyone who has ever felt overwhelmed, overcommitted, or undervalued. It's a gentle yet firm push toward a healthier, more intentional way of living and leading. Whether you’re a people-pleaser in recovery, a burnt-out professional, or simply someone looking to take better care of your emotional bandwidth, this book provides the insight, tools, and courage you need to draw the line—with grace.
As someone that once people-pleased and it was incredibly difficult to say no, this book is very valuable. This is a book I wish I had when I was first learning about the value of 'no.' I really enjoy how it is broken into different categories of parents teaching their children the value of no, saying no despite the politics in the workplace, relationships and even the uncomfortableness of no but how healthy it is for your health.
