The illustrations are simple and nice, and the alliterative poetry is as well, but I think it is far above a two year olds reading and comprehension level. I suppose it might be intended to be read to kids by an adult, but I would still think that teaching meditative breathing to pre-teen aged kids is going to be lost on them.
An excellent book that teaches a valuable calming and relaxing technique, which involves breathing in the scent of flowers to relieve frustration, anxiety or anger. The rhyming story is well-written, and the illustrations are wonderful. A fun story for young readers.
This is the 4th book in this author's series I've purchased, and I've been happy with all of them. Nice illustrations, nice rhyming on each page, and the guided meditation that focuses on breathing techniques is well-portrayed and perfect for young children. Well-done books by this author, look forward to future books.
I thought this book was cute and can help teach kids how to de-escalate in a memorable way. The breathing technique helps ground and be present focused. Valuable for kids.
Blossom breath is a little book with a big message. In our busy world, we often find ourselves in stressful situations. It teaches young children that it's okay to look inside yourself. Stop; take some breaths, and imagine you are growing into a beautiful flower. A healing inspirational wellness tale for kids. Would recommend.
This was a great read. this book was a great exercise in deep breathing and self soothing. I definitely recommend.
Blossom Breath by Christi Rimes is a must read for parents. The illustration is vibrant and inviting, while the calming nature of the book helps to really connect your child to Makesha.
