I received a free copy of this book and am leaving an honest review of my own free will. I think there is much to be said for any book that helps young people to meditate and to reflect with basic breathing exercises to achieve serenity. Normally I might berate the author for having a succession of illustrations that are essentially the same, but actually this fits in with the book's theme and could be considered a philosophical choice.
It's like a meditation guide for kids and I love it. Taking a step back and breathing through things mindfully is important yet very difficult, in my case especially for young boys. This meditative, rhyming book kept the interest of my kids and they even practiced some of the breathing techniques while I was reading. Each page has rhyming lines which is nice in any kids book, and the illustrations were well done as well. One of my kids loved seeing a new animal friend on each page being added to the bunch. I got 3 of this author's books and interested to see future releases.
